The latest 'Global Attraction Attendance Report' is the nineteenth annual collaboration between the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) and AECOM.

It identifies the most visited theme parks, water parks and museums around the world, including Europe's top theme parks in 2023.

This year it is presented in partnership with Storyland Studios.

Things get spooky once more at Europa-Park as the historic Ghost Castle attraction returns with new theming as Castello dei Medici.

The Ghost Castle in Germany's largest theme park, a true classic in the Italian themed area, is finally opening its doors again!

The popular family attraction, which first opened in 1982, has not lost its charm, but has been completely redesigned.

Liseberg in Sweden has made the decision to rebuild their indoor water park, Oceana, which suffered extensive damage in a fire in February this year.

The site of the new 146,000 sq ft water park has been cleared over the last few months, and reconstruction will start in the autumn. Liseberg has completed extensive investigations as the basis for a formal decision on the future of the water park.

Oceana was originally scheduled to open in the summer of 2024, but a fire caused major damage to the facility.

Efteling has announced the opening date of their new haunted attraction, Danse Macabre, will be October 31st, 2024.

For two years now, Efteling staff have been working day in and day out on their new attraction, Danse Macabre. On the spot where the Spookslot haunted house used to stand, a mysterious abbey with a terrifying history has arisen little by little, and the dilapidated building can now be admired in all its glory from behind the construction fences.

For the first time, Efteling is now sharing images of the inside of the abbey, with recently installed choir seats, old, reused elements from Spookslot and an immense organ. From October 31st, 2024, Danse Macabre will open its doors to visitors.
