Denmark’s largest amusement park, Djurs Sommerland, is preparing to unveil a new attraction for 2025: the Camino del Sol Adventure Trail.
Set to open within the park’s Mexicoland themed area, this new immersive and interactive experience promises to transport visitors into the heart of Mexico, offering a one-of-a-kind adventure for families.
Camino del Sol will combine elements of nature and adventure with theming, making it an exciting new addition for guests of all ages. Whether it’s balancing on suspension bridges, exploring hidden nooks, or simply admiring the scenery, the brand new adventure trail promises to provide unforgettable moments of joy and discovery.
Camino del Sol is designed to allow guests to explore the theme area from completely new perspectives. The trail will take visitors on a captivating journey through a variety of exciting environments. They will traverse dizzying suspension bridges, wander through a mysterious temple exuding a mystical aura, and journey past breathtaking water landscapes. This unique path will offer an intimate look at the park’s popular attractions, such as the Juvelen roller coaster and El Grito drop tower, while also immersing visitors in the vibrant culture and atmosphere of Mexicoland.
Are you ready for the wildest expedition for the whole family? Then set off on an adventurous trip into the Mexican jungle, where cascading waterfalls, deep canyons and ancient temples await. Here, you will need to keep your balance as you cross swaying suspension bridges, climb sky-high towers and avoid the Mayans’ cunning traps – with wild jaguars lurking nearby. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for the feathered serpent god, Quetzalcoatl – who will do whatever it takes to protect the temple’s secrets!
Camino del Sol is a one-of-a-kind experience. The twisting jungle trail brings you right up close to two of the park’s most popular rides while revealing unknown aspects of Mexico’s mysterious jungle. Look up and see El Grito – named ‘best ride’ at the Park World Excellence Awards 2024 – hurtling towards the ground from a height of 60 metres, making the walls of the beautiful Mexican ofrenda shake. Look down and feel the rush from Denmark’s longest roller coaster, Juvelen, racing away beneath you at a height of 11 metres!
