LEGOLAND Billund will celebrate its 50th birthday in 2018 and to mark the occasion it will refresh and extend the LEGOREDO Town area of the theme park, giving LEGO Canoe a makeover and launching the new Flying Eagle roller coaster.

Put on your cowboy hat or Indian feather because LEGOREDO Town will be wilder than ever! Now can you fly like the eagles in this year's new ride, the Flying Eagle, you will feel the rush when the roller coaster plunges from the Eagle Rock 11 metres above the ground and whizzes you rapidly past all the great LEGO prairie animals.

Colossos will return to Heide Park in 2019

Heide Park has announced the eagerly awaited decision on the future of Colossos, which was once Europe's tallest and fastest wooden coaster.

The ride has been closed since July 2016, with inspections revealing that the condition of the track was unacceptable for the ride to operate, causing doubts over the future of the ride.

New launched coaster Yukon Quad at Le PAL in 2018

Le PAL will debut a one-of-a-kind launched roller coaster in France this year, with the addition of Yukon Quad.

Riders will be seated on quad bike style seats and travel at around 90km/h along the 1km circuit. Hanging on to the handlebars of your bike, you'll pass through the amazing landscapes of northern Canada and enjoy a succession of turns, climbs and spectacular drops. 

The world's first 'Roller Ball' coaster from Ride Engineers Switzerland will open at Germany's Schwaben Park in 2018.

Wilde Hilde is being described by the park as a "totally crazy chicken coop" and will be unique in the world.

The new ride is very much aimed at families so will fit in perfectly and due to its modest footprint can be easily added.

Phantasialand will debut the world’s first flying launch coaster, named F.L.Y.

It is also set to be the longest flying coaster in the world, a record currently held by The Flying Dinosaur at Universal Studios Japan.

The new roller coaster is likely to open in 2020, and will be located in a new steampunk inspired area of the theme park called Rookburgh.
