Walygator Sud-Ouest is gearing up to welcome a high-octane new roller coaster in 2026: the legendary Speed: No Limits, previously a staple attraction at Oakwood Theme Park in Wales.
The thrilling roller coaster — known for its beyond-vertical 97-degree drop and intense Euro-Fighter design from German manufacturer Gerstlauer — first opened at Oakwood in 2006. Over nearly two decades, it thrilled riders with its vertical lift hill, inversions, and top speeds approaching 100 km/h, before closing in 2024 following the shutdown of the Welsh theme park.
Oakwood Theme Park’s sad closure marked the end of an era for one of the UK’s most distinctive thrill rides. Rather than being scrapped, Speed: No Limits was dismantled and prepared for relocation, ensuring its survival and future operation elsewhere in Europe.

BoldMove Nation has announced new details about their upcoming media-based dark ride at Hunderfossen in Norway, which will bring the feature film Rally – From Paris to the Pyramids to life.
The new indoor attraction will feature the company’s next-generation Rogue Rides trackless vehicles and is being developed in collaboration with Oslo-based Qvisten Animation.
