PortAventura World is preparing to welcome one of its most cherished annual traditions, transforming the entire resort into a shimmering celebration of Christmas from 22 November 2025 to 6 January 2026.
This year’s festive season carries special significance as it marks the final major celebration of the resort’s 30th anniversary, rounding off a milestone year with new shows, new experiences, and sparkling holiday entertainment for all ages.
New: Circo de Navidad
At the heart of this year’s Christmas offering is Circo de Navidad, a brand-new show created especially for the anniversary. The emotional production tells the uplifting story of a young girl from a small village who discovers her artistic passions when a travelling circus arrives. Through music, light and heartfelt performances, the show will pay tribute to traditional Christmas circus magic and the power of following one’s dreams.
Christmas Light Switch-On in Mediterrània
Each evening, the Mediterrània area will host the PortAventura Park Christmas Light Switch-On, illuminating the resort with dazzling colours and creating a picture-perfect finale to the day. The show will envelop guests in a warm, festive glow as the resort transitions into its night-time winter wonderland.
Festive Magic Across All Themed Lands
The spirit of Christmas will spread throughout PortAventura's themed areas—from China to the Far West—with decorations, lights, and seasonal entertainment.
New for 2025 is a Mexican-style Christmas celebration, offering guests the chance to experience a traditional posada complete with festive rhymes, songs, dancing, and a star-shaped piñata for children.

Festive Dining and Hotel Experiences
PortAventura World’s food and beverage offering will be transformed for the season, featuring special Christmas menus and the family dinner show La Posada de los Gnomos. The resort’s hotels will also take on festive theming, offering complete holiday packages—including Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve experiences—for those looking to celebrate in true PortAventura style.
