One of the most beloved rides in Attractiepark Toverland’s indoor Land van Toos is getting a full refresh for the 2026 season.

The classic kids’ SBF Visa 'Convoy' attraction, Truukjes – a family favourite since the park’s opening in 2001 – will return with a fresh theme, redesigned vehicles and an all-new name: Morrel’s Truckjes.

A Brand-New Look for a Classic Ride

While Truukjes has delighted young drivers for over two decades navigating its compact 55-metre track, the 2026 refresh goes far beyond standard maintenance. While the concrete base will remain in place, virtually every other part of the ride, from the track rails to the control system, is being replaced to modernise the experience and improve reliability.

The current ride will undergo:

  • Complete vehicle replacement – all six ride cars are being swapped for new, custom-made models built in Italy

  • New track and control systems – even though the layout stays the same, the underlying ride hardware and electronics are being heavily renewed

  • A refreshed environment and storytelling elements – new scenic details and themed scenes will make the ride feel more immersive than ever

From Truukjes to Morrel’s Truckjes

The refreshed attraction won’t just look different, it will feel different. Toverland is leaning into character and storytelling by putting one of its lovable Land van Toos personalities front and centre. The ride has been renamed Morrel’s Truckjes, complete with a bold new entry sign and themed operator kiosk.

The new vehicles take inspiration from rugged pickup trucks, giving them a slightly tougher, more adventurous appearance while remaining perfectly accessible for younger guests. Adults will still be able to ride along, helping children steer or simply enjoying the experience together as a family.

More Details Along the Track

During the ride, guests will encounter a range of playful new scenes designed to add visual interest and narrative depth to the journey. Highlights include:

  • A quaint village pump where Morrel’s antics have caused a little chaos

  • A comically disrupted picnic table filled with small visual gags

  • A cosy garage scene that riders will actually drive through

These additions are intended to give families more to discover on each lap, encouraging repeat rides and shared moments beyond simply steering the trucks.

Opening for the 2026 Season

Construction work will take place as part of Toverland’s winter maintenance period. Morrel’s Truckjes is scheduled to open with the launch of the park’s 2026 summer season on 28 March 2026, welcoming a new generation of young drivers to this refreshed family classic.
