Disney has announced that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in Walt Disney Studios at Disneyland Paris is to become a Marvel attraction.
The popular launched roller coaster opened with the theme park in 2002 and will be reimagined with an Iron Man and Avengers theme, keeping the existing building and ride system.
A "high-speed, hyper-kinetic adventure" is promised when the ride re-opens after its transformation.
The attraction will join Marvel: Super Heroes United, a new live show opening on 10th June 2018 for the park’s inaugural Marvel Summer of Super Heroes.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith will be totally reimagined as a high-speed, hyper-kinetic adventure, in which guests will team up with Iron Man and their favorite Avengers.
As previously confirmed, Disney’s Hotel New York will soon become Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, the first Disney hotel to showcase the world of the Avengers, with exclusive artwork and a new design.
Popular stories and characters from the Marvel universe are already being incorporated into Disneyland Paris in the form of this summer’s Marvel Summer of Super Heroes celebration, plus plans for Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel.
Over at Hong Kong Disneyland the Iron Man Experience, a 3D motion simulator ride, opened last year and a second Marvel attraction based on Ant-Man and The Wasp will open this year.
