The new roller coaster Pitts Special is now open at PowerPark in Finland.

It begins with a vertical lift up to a height of 43.5 m (142.7 ft). From the top of the tower, each 8-seater train plunges at an 85-degree angle toward the ground at 100 km/h (62.1 mph). In total, the roller coaster has a length of 693 m (2,273.6 ft) and subjects riders to a force of 4.5 g.

Pitts Special is a custom Infinity Coaster from the German manufacturer Gerstlauer.

PowerPark offers 160 hectares of fun, speed, experiences and activities. The resort also includes karting tracks, a hotel and a camping area with cottages.

Highlights include the launch coaster Junker, wooden coaster Thunderbird and drop ride Dragon Tower.
