Erlebnispark Tripsdrill in Cleebronn, Germany has officially announced an exciting new addition to its ride lineup for the 2026 season.
The family-focused attraction Luftikus, themed around early aviation, is scheduled to open with the start of the park’s spring season and promises to be a whimsical new highlight for visitors of all ages.
Luftikus will be a Flying Tiger 8 ride by renowned Italian manufacturer Zamperla.
A Flight Adventure for Everyone
The attraction features eight gondolas that travel along an oval track, creating a gentle swinging motion as they move through the curves. Designed with families in mind, each gondola can carry either four children or one adult with two kids, allowing up to 32 guests per cycle to take part in the airborne fun.
The ride’s design draws inspiration from a historic zeppelin, and it is carefully themed to fit within Tripsdrill’s charming narrative world centred on the fictional inventor Karle Kolbenfresser, a character already associated with nearby attractions like the popular Karacho coaster. This thematic integration gives Luftikus a playful storybook quality that blends historic style with modern ride mechanics.
Location & Integration Within the Park
Luftikus will be located near the existing launch coaster Karacho, placing it in a lively part of the park that appeals to both thrill-seekers and families. Visually and thematically, the attraction is designed to complement surrounding rides while adding a unique focal point for Tripsdrill’s growing roster of innovative experiences.
Tripsdrill, one of Germany’s oldest amusement parks, is known for blending imaginative storytelling with creative ride concepts. With over 100 attractions already on offer, from fast coasters to gentle family rides, the park continues to build on its reputation as an engaging destination for visitors of all ages.
Opening Plans for 2026
The park has planned a pre-opening weekend for Luftikus on 21 and 22 March 2026, giving eager guests an early chance to experience the ride ahead of the regular season. Official operations are set to begin on 28 March 2026, coinciding with the opening of Tripsdrill’s full 2026 season.
With its whimsical theme and family-friendly layout, Luftikus is shaping up to be a must-see addition to Tripsdrill’s 2026 line-up and a delightful new experience for park visitors across Europe.
