Movie Park Germany is summoning the legends of darkness for its 28th Halloween Horror Festival. Running for 22 event days between 26 September and 8 November 2026, the park will once again transform into an epicentre of fear with the theme 'Legends Never Die'.
A Horror Legend Comes to Life
The undeniable highlight of the 2026 lineup is the brand-new Jason Universe haunted house. Based on the iconic slasher franchise, specifically parts two through six, the maze brings the legendary killer to life across 14 terrifying scenes and a preshow. Created in collaboration with Leisure Expert Group and Props & Zo., this highly detailed attraction replaces the long-running Secrets of St. Elmo and is strictly designed for guests aged 16 and over.
Fans can expect to navigate familiar and gruesome settings from the films, including the iconic barn, the camp, and the dense forest where numerous victims have met their fate.
Interactive Fear: The Live Horror Game Show
Also debuting this year is PHOBIA - The Live Horror Game Show located in Studio 7. Hosted by the unpredictable "Rudy von Hell", the new live show integrates the audience into a psychological game. Featuring an unsettling blend of freak acts and international performers from the United Kingdom, Italy, the Netherlands, and Hungary, the experience promises to blur the lines between madness and entertainment.
Returning Favourites & Sinister Enhancements
The festival boasts a grand total of nine horror experiences and four scare zones, prowled by a cast of over 300 monster actors. Fan-favourite attractions are receiving fresh updates for the 2026 season. The Ahoj-Brause Horror Lab features a revised storyline focusing on testing different flavours. Meanwhile, the Murder Museum true-crime house has expanded to include a forensic pathology room, allowing guests to take a closer look at the grim aftermath of serial killers.
Atmospheric entertainment continues throughout the park. DJ Max Bering returns to the Acid Rain zone to provide an apocalyptic soundtrack, and hypnotist Stephan Nölle will bring spine-chilling illusions to the Western Saloon. Once night falls, popular roller coasters like The Bandit and Star Trek: Operation Enterprise will feature special lighting and effects to enhance the eerie ambience.

Ticket Information
General admission tickets and mandatory time slots for the horror houses are expected to be available online from mid-September. Movie Park Germany strongly recommends booking early due to limited availability on event days. Premium options, such as the Speedy Pass Horror and the all-inclusive S.I.K. VIP Pass, will also be on offer for those looking to maximise their terrifying experience.
We experienced the event last year, and wthout the S.I.K. VIP Pass it isn't possible to experience every horror experience in one visit.
