Energylandia in Poland has confirmed more details of their new 6-hectare expansion in 2021, with the new themed area Aqualantis featuring several other rides and attractions in addition to the double launch roller coaster Abyssus.

Zamperla will be supplying three more children's attractions to the rapidly growing theme park located near the town of Zator.

The extra additions to the new themed area bring the total number of new attractions in Aqualantis to 10.

The new area of the park is based on ancient Atlantis, where the inhabitants lived in prosperity and harmony with the sea until it was overwhelmed with water and the kingdom was at the bottom of the ocean for centuries. Fortunately the ruins were found by brave explorers who built a pump station to recover the lost city.

All of the new rides from Zamperla are interactive family rides:

  • Burning Engine - 'Fire Brigade' ride
  • Magic Pump - 'Magic Bikes' ride
  • Submarine Dive - 'Jump Around' ride

These join the 7 new rides and attractions previously announced:

  • Abyssus - double launch roller coaster (Vekoma)
  • Grotto Expedition - slow boat ride
  • Whirlpool Water Fight - interactive water attraction
  • Light Explorer - Family Boomerang Coaster (Vekoma)
  • Tidal Wave Twister - Disk'o Coaster (Zamperla)
  • Stormy Ship - Rockin' Tug (Zamperla)
  • Water Works - water play area

Other features of the new themed area:

  • Aquajump - high dive show
  • The Hall of Columns - restaurant
  • Merchant of Aqualantis - shop

Abyssus

The new Shockwave roller coaster from Vekoma will be 1,316 metres (4,318 ft) long and feature 2 LSM launch sections and 4 inversions.

It will reach a top speed of 100 km/h (62.1 mph) and a height of 45 metres (147.6 ft) during the ride.
