A groundbreaking new expansion is on the way to LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort, as Merlin Entertainments and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences have announced the world’s first LEGO Harry Potter land.
The major development will also include the first-ever Harry Potter–themed guest accommodation, marking a landmark moment for both brands and for the resort in Germany.
In a collaboration that brings together creativity, wizardry and play, guests will soon step into a land where Hogwarts™ meets LEGO bricks in a location-based experience like never before.

Fiona Eastwood, Chief Executive Officer of Merlin Entertainments, described the project as a milestone for the company:
“Partnering with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences is the ultimate showcase of what we do best – transforming the world’s most iconic brands into memorable, immersive experiences for millions of guests… By bringing the wizarding world to life in brick form at LEGOLAND, we’re raising the bar for creativity and innovation like never before.”
She added that the new land represents Merlin’s largest-ever single investment into an existing site, underlining the resort’s significant growth potential.
Peter van Roden, EVP of Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, highlighted the excitement for Harry Potter fans worldwide:
“We are always looking for new ways for the millions of Harry Potter fans around the world to extend the magic… This new destination will allow fans to step into the familiar LEGO Harry Potter aesthetic they have been constructing for years and physically experience the wizarding world like never before.”
A Landmark Announcement for LEGOLAND Deutschland
The new LEGO Harry Potter land and themed accommodation will represent the first time the Wizarding World™ has been brought to life in LEGO form at such a large-scale themed destination. It will join LEGOLAND Deutschland’s lineup of family attractions, themed lands, and short-break offerings, further accelerating Merlin Entertainments’ strategy of expanding the park into a “mega-resort”.
While details on designs and attractions have not yet been revealed, the announcement promises a spellbinding mix of iconic characters, magical settings, and interactive adventures inspired by both the beloved films and the world of LEGO building.
More Details Coming in 2026
Merlin Entertainments confirmed that full details of the new land will be released gradually over the next 12 months, with construction timelines, attractions, and the new accommodation concept still to be unveiled.
This ambitious project is set to become a major new draw for LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort and a must-visit destination for fans of both LEGO and the Harry Potter franchise.
