French theme park Le PAL will open a new family ride for the 2019 season, with The Yukon Wings joining the Yukon Territory-inspired area of the park.

The ride model is known as WindstarZ, from the the manufacturer Zamperla.

Riders will be able to take a seat aboard a hang glider and become a pilot by controlling the movement of the sail.

With its colourful, attractive and original design, the new attraction promises to offer an unforgettable experience with guaranteed thrills.

At the end of each of the 12 arms, riders will find a two seat-carriage able to comfortably and securely accommodate both kids and adults. By pushing and pulling on the on the triangle shaped control bar in front of them, all 24 riders will be able to ‘catch the wind' like a real hang glider.

Le PAL is a combined theme park, zoo and holiday village near Moulins in France, with a variety of rides and attractions as well as animal encounters and live shows.

This year Le PAL opened Yukon Quad, a new launched roller coaster.
