LEGOLAND Billund will celebrate its 50th birthday in 2018 and to mark the occasion it will refresh and extend the LEGOREDO Town area of the theme park, giving LEGO Canoe a makeover and launching the new Flying Eagle roller coaster.

Put on your cowboy hat or Indian feather because LEGOREDO Town will be wilder than ever! Now can you fly like the eagles in this year's new ride, the Flying Eagle, you will feel the rush when the roller coaster plunges from the Eagle Rock 11 metres above the ground and whizzes you rapidly past all the great LEGO prairie animals.

At the park it will be known as Flyvende Ørn which is Danish for Flying Eagle. The opening date of the Zierer built ride has not been announced.

In addition to the new Flying Eagle roller coaster, the current LEGO Canoe water ride in LEGOREDO Town will be refreshed.
