French theme park Nigloland has begun teasing their new attraction in 2021, a new water coaster from the German manufacturer Mack Rides.

Although the name of the new ride is yet to be confirmed by the park, in May they trademarked Krampus Expedition, and advertising has started to appear that supports this.

Nigloland has previously advised that an investment of €15 million is being made in the new attraction.

Construction of the new attraction is currently underway, with much of the groundwork already complete, and installation of the supports and track due to begin this week.

In 2021, a legendary creature descends from the mountains to invade the park… Will you be ready for the expedition?

In folklore, Krampus is a horned figure that's half-goat and half-demon, who punishes children who have misbehaved. It has been popularised in films such as Krampus (2015).
