Le PAL will open the largest attraction created at the park since it opened in 1973, a new water coaster from Mack Rides.
Fjord Explorer combines the fast-paced thrills of a roller coaster with the excitement of a splash down! After a tranquil ride on a lake, this roller coaster takes 8 passengers per boat to nearly 30 metres high for an exhilarating aerial journey, followed by a 20-metre drop at 70 km/h into the crystal-clear waters of a Scandinavian harbour.
The attraction has been built on an area of 10,000 m2 with a lake and forested environment providing the backdrop for this new addition to the park.
This new area is inspired by the Scandinavian peninsula and recreates the ambiance of Nordic countries such as Finland and Norway. Brightly coloured wooden houses with vegetated roofs line the docks overlooking the lake where boats are moored. The change of scenery is complete.
A dining area with outdoor terraces on stilts allows visitors to take a break and recover from the sensations and emotions of the journey.
