Movieland is Italy's first theme park dedicated to the studios of Hollywood, and there are two new family attractions to enjoy in 2019.

The park offers exciting attractions and rides, captivating live musical and dance performances and spectacular stunt shows.

Joining their unique line-up of experiences this year are the Bandido 3D adventure in the Metropol Magic Cinema and the Kitt MiniJet water ride.

We visited Movieland last year and in our review we commented that the Police Academy attraction could have been better so the good news is that for 2019 this motion simulator experience has been transformed into the Art Deco style Metropol Magic Cinema, which is showing the 3D film Bandido this year.

Each of the four-seat motion simulators, which were previously themed like police cars, have been converted with stylish cinema seats. In the new film, guests go on an eventful journey in the wild west in the company of an unfortunate sheriff and his trusty steed who come face to face with a ruthless bank robber.

Kitt SuperJet was one of our favourite rides at the park - it is an action packed speed boat ride based on the iconic TV show Knight Rider. New for 2019, there is a new attraction especially for children and that they can control, Kitt MiniJet.

Each of the two seater boats can accommodate an adult along with their child who can control both the speed and direction of the boat around a race track within a film set inspired by the Grand Canyon.

These new additions to the park come after a hugely successful season in 2018, with visitor numbers growing by 24% on the previous year.
