French theme park Parc des Combes has officially unveiled its headline attraction for the 2026 season, Bis2Fly, a brand new flat ride.

The thrilling new attraction is set to be the first Wave Twist L model to open in Europe. This unique thrill experience comes from Swiss manufacturer RES RIDES, marking a major milestone in the development of the park's offering.

A New Kind of Motion

The Wave Twist L is a dynamic amusement ride design that blends linear motion and rotation to simulate the sensation of surfing giant waves. The new ride features two gondolas, each accommodating up to 10 passengers, mounted on a central rotating platform that travels along a curved, wave-like rail. As the vehicle traverses its 85-metre track, riders experience twisting motions and flowing turns, all while staying high and dry.

Parc des Combes promotes Bis2Fly as a thrilling and accessible attraction, suitable for a wide range of guests. Riders from 90 cm tall may ride, with those under 1.20 m required to be accompanied by an adult. The ride will reach heights of up to approximately 14 metres, delivering spectacular aerial twists and turns when it opens in Summer 2026.

First of Its Kind in Europe

While RES RIDES has multiple installations underway globally, Bis2Fly will hold the distinction of being the first Wave Twist L attraction to debut in Europe. The same ride model is also being built for Adventureland in Long Island, the United States, where it is known as Wave Twister, and is scheduled to open around a similar timeframe, offering a comparable experience to guests in North America.

Parc des Combes Continues Its Growth

Located in Le Creusot in Burgundy, Parc des Combes has steadily developed a varied roster of attractions, ranging from family rides to more spirited experiences. The addition of Bis2Fly continues this trend, adding a signature thrill attraction that complements the park’s scenic setting and broad appeal.
