French theme park Kingoland has officially unveiled its headline addition for the 2026 season: Tomahawk, a new Super Spin attraction from Italian manufacturer Zamperla.

The announcement was made via the park’s official Instagram channel, confirming that the new thrill ride will open in 2026 as part of the continued expansion of the park’s western themed zone.

A Compact Thrill Ride with Inversions

Tomahawk will be a Super Spin model, one of Zamperla’s modern flat ride concepts designed to deliver intense movement within a relatively compact footprint. The attraction will:

  • Accommodate 12 riders per cycle
  • Swing guests up to 11 metres high
  • Feature inversions during the ride experience
  • Combine spinning motion with pendulum style dynamics

The ride type is known for offering strong visual impact and high thrill levels, making it an eye catching addition to regional parks looking to expand their more intense offerings.

Located Behind Tatanka

Tomahawk will be installed behind Tatanka, extending the themed area that was inaugurated last year. The park has indicated that the new attraction will blend into the existing scenery, continuing the cohesive atmosphere established in this part of the park.

This placement suggests a deliberate effort to strengthen the identity of the zone rather than creating a standalone addition, reinforcing Kingoland’s steady, phased development strategy.

Continued Growth for Brittany’s Family Park

Since opening in 2014, Kingoland has grown into one of Brittany’s leading family theme parks, offering a mix of family rides, water attractions, and thrill experiences. The addition of Tomahawk signals a continued investment in attractions that appeal to teenagers and thrill seeking adults, while maintaining the park’s approachable scale.

With inversions, elevated swings, and a recognisable European manufacturer behind it, Tomahawk is set to become one of the park’s standout experiences when the 2026 season begins.
