Europa-Park Resort has completed Silver Lake City, a fully themed Wild West resort area located just a short distance from Germany's largest theme park.
Combining nature-focused accommodation with authentic 19th-century American charm, the expanded resort district offers a year-round holiday destination for families and other groups.
The expanded resort features extensive accommodation upgrades, immersive dining venues, and a diverse range of leisure activities situated alongside a lake and nature reserve.
Expanded Frontier Accommodations
The centrepiece of the recent developments is the newly expanded Riverside Western Lodge, which opened its doors in June 2026. The lodge has boosted its capacity to 119 rooms, delivering a total of 532 beds. Designed with meticulous attention to detail, the property utilizes wooden façades, warm colour palettes, and a rustic decor to submerge guests into a comfortable American Western environment.

Saloons and Dining Stations
The culinary offerings at Silver Lake City cater heavily to the cowboy lifestyle. The central dining hub is the Diner Station, a buffet restaurant beautifully fashioned after a historic railway station where guests can dine inside authentic train carriages. The venue accommodates 275 indoor guests and 200 on outdoor terraces, serving breakfast and a varied evening buffet of American classics, fresh salads, and grilled meats.
For a classic saloon experience, the Silver Lake Saloon features a large hall with a performance stage and seating for 210 diners (140 on the main floor and 70 in the upper gallery) serving up Texas burgers, steaks, and spare ribs.
Additional food and beverage spots include:
- The Wild Horse Bar: A rustic saloon space seating 120, serving freshly tapped beer and cocktails.
- Silver Lake Brewery: A craft brewery venue where guests can sample naturally cloudy 'Silver Lake Brew' in a viewing tasting room.
- Cantina Amigo: An 80-seat self-service restaurant tailored for group events.
- Grandpa Will's Hot Dogs & Cold Rush Western Ice Creams: Quick-service stops for snacks and treats.
Rodeo Action and Virtual Reality
The entertainment landscape at the resort seamlessly blends old-school cowboy activities with modern technology. Guests looking for active leisure can tackle Gold Rush Golf, a 12-hole miniature golf course set in a desert landscape surrounded by cacti. Young children can explore a large locomotive-shaped adventure playground, while daring guests can test their skills on a mechanical bull riding experience.
The district has also embraced high-tech entertainment with the inclusion of a YULLBE GO venue, offering interactive, state-of-the-art virtual reality experiences. The entertainment programme is elevated by live musicians, artists, and walking acts performing throughout the Western town. The 24/7 Wild West Store ensures convenience is available at any time of day or night.
