Isla Mágica, the popular theme park in Seville, is set to introduce an exciting new attraction for thrill-seekers in 2026, their first 'Wooden Coaster'.
This new roller coaster will feature a predominantly wooden structure and will be located on the picturesque lake that sits at the heart of the park. The new ride promises to add another exhilarating experience to Isla Mágica's current collection of rides and attractions.
At a cost of approximately €2.7 million, the new Wooden Coaster is set to make a splash with its 25-metre height and a ride length of 595 metres. The attraction, manufactured by Great Coasters International, will feature steel GCI Titan Track.
Riders will experience a smooth yet exciting journey aboard a 16-person train that will reach speeds of up to 68 km/h. The total ride time will be a swift 1 minute and 33 seconds, offering just enough adrenaline to leave visitors craving more.
Their new Wooden Coaster will be located opposite the park's popular amphitheatre, offering a stunning view of the lake as guests soar through the air. The minimum height requirement for riders is 1.21 meters, though it remains to be seen if there will be an age restriction for the ride.
Despite its exciting design, the new coaster will offer a less intense experience compared to the park's Jaguar roller coaster, which stands 32 metres tall and reaches a maximum speed of 85 km/h, featuring five inversions.
The introduction of the new attraction will expand Isla Mágica's portfolio to a total of 30 rides, solidifying its reputation as a leading amusement destination in the region.
In addition to the new roller coaster, Isla Mágica will also be expanding their water park, Agua Mágica, which will be able to accommodate 4,100 visitors—500 more than its current capacity. This enhancement reflects the park's ongoing commitment to enhancing the guest experience, particularly for those who enjoy water-based attractions.
