Hansa-Park has officially unveiled fresh details about Cornwall Coaster, a brand-new family launch coaster set to open in 2026.

The attraction will be located in the park’s Beautiful Britain themed area and promises a heavily themed experience that blends storytelling, scenery, and accessible thrills.

Manufactured by Gerstlauer Amusement Rides, Cornwall Coaster will be a custom Family Coaster model designed to appeal to a broad audience while still offering dynamic ride elements.

According to the newly released information, the coaster will reach a top speed of 31 mph (50 km/h) and feature 570 metres of track, making it a substantial addition to the park’s ride lineup.

One of the most notable features is its ambitious launch setup. Cornwall Coaster will include six launches in total, split evenly between three forward launches and three backward launches, culminating in a dramatic spike element. This multi-directional launch sequence suggests a ride experience focused on repeated acceleration and momentum rather than height or extreme forces, in keeping with its family-friendly positioning.

Concept artwork released by Hansa-Park highlights a strong emphasis on theming. Guests can expect detailed rockwork, atmospheric castle ruins, and a striking brick bridge integrated directly into the coaster layout. These elements reinforce the British coastal inspiration of the Beautiful Britain area and continue Hansa-Park’s reputation for immersive environments.

With Cornwall Coaster, Hansa-Park appears to be investing heavily in a ride that balances accessibility with innovation, using modern launch technology and rich theming to create a standout family attraction. As development continues toward its planned 2026 opening, further announcements are expected.
